Essex Ladies County Golf
BRONZE HANDICAP MEETING !
The Bronze Handicap Meeting took place this year at The Burstead Golf Club on Friday 26th May. Finally, it seemed better weather had arrived after a long winter and the day was blessed with sunshine and a brisk wind.
The Stableford competition was played over 18 holes with 36 ladies from 12 clubs across the county competing for the Romford Bowl and prizes to 3rd place.
The winner of the Romford Bowl with a fantastic score of 40 points was Christine Richings, Chelmsford GC, Runner up prize was awarded to Angela Kimberley, Boyce Hill GC with 37 points and third place with a score of 36 points was Hilary Willett, Boyce Hill GC.

A big thank you to Nicola Thomas, ELCGA President for presenting the prizes, Sharon Glover, ELGCA Ladies Captain 2023 for help and support and, Ruth Collins our Referee on the day.
Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to The Burstead Golf Club for hosting the event this year andpresenting the course in superb condition following the wet winter conditions and providing fantastic hospitality.
