WE WON

Bedfordshire, Cambs & Hunts, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk battled it out at the lovely Harpenden GC.

There was torrential rain, thunder & lightening, wind and even a little sunshine in the two and a half day tournament. Both the standard of golf and the spirit in which it was played made for a very exciting few days with a nail-biting finish. At the start of the final day Cambs & Hunts and Essex were tied with a narrow lead..

With 9 holes to play Essex were down in four matches but our fantastic players all rallied and produced a 3.5: 1.5 win resulting in Essex becoming the overall winners for the first time since 2015. We are now looking forward to the National finals at Stoneham GC (Sep 16 - 18)
