PRESIDENT'S DAY

The inaugural ELCGA President’s Day was held on Friday 6th October at Benton Hall Golf Club.  A field of 84 ladies from fifteen clubs played an Aggregate Stableford in teams of 3 on a warm autumn day.  The event raised in the region of £2,000 for the ELCGA Girls’ Bursary, a wonderful boost to the funds.  Our grateful thanks to all who participated and contributed to the day.  Congratulations to all the prize winners: 1st Ruth Chaplin, Gill Mass, Joanna Philpot (Thorndon Park); 2nd Karen Westhorp (Chelmsford), Liz Brown (Warley Park), Jo MacSween (Chelmsford); 3rd Laura Paterson, Helen Parker, Helen Muir (Thorndon Park); Best Home Team – Jo Terry, Wendy Kirkby, Hilary Malicka (Benton Hall); Best Front 9 – Gill Sautter (Epping), Kathy Simmons (Epping), Val Cook (Benton Hall); Best Back 9 – o.c.b.
