ESSEX vs NORFOLK SENIORS MATCH

The Essex Ladies Senior team played their last match in the Eastern Regions League on Wednesday 27th September against Norfolk at Royal Norwich GC. Royal Norwich is a challenging golf course with accuracy off the team being paramount. Equally challenging were the greens with many subtle underlations. Benefitting from a practice round the day before the team were able to secure a draw meaning they are unbeaten in the league with 2 wins and 2 draws. We await the final matches being played to determine the league winners. Thanks to Nicky and her team for a great day, great golf course and a match played in a lovely spirit.

Representing Essex were;

Julie Finegan - Chigwell (Team Captain), Gill Haysham and Tiff Wade - Chelmsford, Wendy Cook - Colne Valley, Jo Rumsey and Joan Smith - Rochford Hundred.
