ESSEX vs HERTFORDSHIRE @ CHIGWELL GC

Essex Seniors played their second Eastern League match against Hertfordshire at Chigwell GC on Thursday 3rd August. The sun finally made an appearance and showcased Chigwell GC at it's best. All the games were played in a great spirit with some fabulous golf on show. The match was extremely tight with 3 of the games finishing on the 18th where the result could easily have gone either way. The match was halved 3- 3. As always thanks to Chigwell GC for hosting and for our starter on the day David Miller.

Essex were represented by;

Gill Haysham, Sara Dunn and Tiff Wade (Chelmsford), Jo Rumsey and Joan Smith (Rochford Hundred) and Team Captain Julie Finegan (Chigwell).

Our next match is away to Sussex @ Sweetwoods GC on 7th September.
