ESSEX VS KENT

The Essex Senior Team travelled to Canterbury GC on Monday 31st July for their match against Kent. The course, as always was in excellent condition with many interesting and challenging holes. Sadly the expected sunny July weather was no where to be seen and the game was played in a constant drizzle of rain. The Kent team were as usual very strong and secured a win of 5-1 and an overall League win for the second year running. So a BIG congratulations to Kent for this amazing achievement.

Essex were represented by;

Gill Haysham, Sara Dunn and Tiff Wade (Chelmsford), Jo Rumsey and Joan Smith (Rochford Hundred) and Team Captain Julie Finegan (Chigwell).
