ESSEX SENIORS vs CAMBS AND HUNTS
The Essex Seniors team played their first match in The East Regions League on Thursday 13th July at Chigwell GC against Cambs and Hunts. Chigwell was once again in fabulous condition having benefitted from the recent sunny weather and overnight rain. The games were all tight with Essex coming out on top with an overall win of 4 matches to 2. Thanks to Chigwell GC for hosting the match and for the excellent catering before and after the match. Also to our starter on the day David Miller, Chigwell Lady Captain, Carol Hembury and the Chigwell ladies who came out to support.
Essex was represented by Gill Haysham (Chelmsford), Jo Rumsey (Rochford Hundred), Sophie Walters (Wanstead),Tiff Wade (Chelmsford) Joan Smith (Rochford) and Team Captain Julie Finegan (Chigwell).
Our next match is away @ Canterbury GC against Kent on Monday 31st July.
