ELCGA Seniors Team vs Middlesex

The Seniors team played their second match in the Mulligan Larson League on Thursday 15th June against Middlesex at Chigwell GC. The course was once again in fabulous condition with the greens running at a good pace. The match was played in a great spirit with Essex securing a narrow win 3.5 - 2.5 points.

Essex was represented by Sara Dunn (Chelmsford), Jo Rumsey (Rochford Hundred), Tiff Wade (Chelmsford), Gill Haysham (Chelmsford), Sue Boom (Chelmsford) and Team Captain Julie Finegan (Chigwell).

Thanks to Chigwell GC for hosting and for the excellent refreshments at the end of the matches. Also to our starter, David Miller and to the Chigwell Ladies who came to support at the start of the match.

Our next match is at Chigwell on 13th July against Cambs and Hunts in the newly formed East Regions League.
