Essex Ladies County Golf
SENIORS HANDICAP MEETING
The Seniors Handicap Meeting took place at Stock Brook Manor with a field of ladies braving the rain on a morning which made it very clear that autumn had arrived. The morning was interspersed with showers which many commented that it made an impact on scores.
The stableford competition, played over 18 holes was enjoyed by 57 ladies representing 17 clubs across Essex.
The overall winner of the Ina Cameron Trophy was Linda Boland from Frinton Golf Club with 35 points, beating Eileen Hemple from Stock Brook Manor on countback also with 35 points. Two further prizes were awarded for two divisions representing two age groups were Linda Atkinson from Warley Park with 33 points and Chris Monaghan from Stock Brook Manor with 32 points.
