BRONZE HANDICAP MEETING

The Bronze Handicap Meeting was held at Orsett Golf Club on Monday 23rd June 2025 and Nineteen Ladies from Eleven clubs attended and played a Stableford competition over 18 holes for the McClure Bowl. The day started out sunny, very windy and thankfully not as hot as the previous few days.  

The winner with 37 points was Annette Sounes from Croydon Park Golf and Country Club who was very happy that she had been persuaded to enter the competition,

Runner up was Susan Horne from Benton Hall Golf and Country Club with 36 points and third prize went to Pauline Nixon of Chelmsford Golf Club with 35 points.

Thank you to ELCGA County President Karen Charles for presenting the prizes and to County Captain Elaine Davidson for helping with registration and starting the Ladies at the 1st Tee.

Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to Orsett Golf Club for hosting the event and to their staff who looked after all the ladies.
