ESSEX SENIORS vs CAMBS & HUNTS

The Essex Senior Ladies started their defence of the Eastern Region League with a home win against Cambs and Hunts on Wednesday 28th May at Chigwell GC. The matches were all extremely tight with 3 games finishing on the 18th Hole. The overall score was a 5-1 win for Essex which in no way reflected the excellent golf played by both sides and the closeness of the matches. Cambs and Hunts fielded a strong and experienced team and Essex welcomed a new addition to the team with Lorna Booth. 

The course was once again in fabulous condition with the greens running at a good pace. Thanks again to Chigwell GC and board for their continued support of Essex and the Senior team. And to Clyde our starter on the day.

Next matches Hertfordshire on the 11th June and Middlesex on the 12th June.
