Essex Ladies County Golf
East Region Foursomes
On an incredibly hot and sunny day for the end of April, Colne Valley hosted the East Region 36 hole Foursomes. 74 players from across the six counties in the east region took part, and with Colne Valley in excellent condition, the scoring was generally very good. In the morning round, Kelly Cooke and Esther Strous had the best gross score of 76 with Alice Barlow and Jasmine Points second with a gross 78. In the afternoon the best gross score was 74, from Riya Chandaria and Sarah Marley, with Alice Barlow and Jasmine Points coming in second again with a gross 77.
Overall, the winners and East Region Champions were Alice and Jasmine, Elaine Meagher and Linda Reeve won the best combined net scores with 138.
