EAST REGION SENIORS CHAMPIONSHIP

Todays extreme heat and difficult conditions found 34 Ladies from four Counties and twenty Clubs competing in the East Region Seniors Championship on Colne Valley's beautiful and well maintained Course.

Many thanks to all of the Ladies who supported this event and to the two referees fron EGU who helped ensure it's smooth running.

The County Team Shield was won by Essex represented by: Angela West from Chelmsford, Paula Wendleken from Abridge and Wendy Cook from Colne Valley.

The Handicap prize was won by Angela West - still from Chelmsford, with a nett 70 , closely followed by Sharon Davey from Fynn Valley with 71.

The Trophy and overall scratch prize was won by Karen Young from Eaton Golf Club with Chrissie Owens representing Dunston Hall in second place with 84.
