ESSEX SENIORS vs NORFOLK

The Seniors played their last match of the season at Chigwell GC on Wednesday 25th September. The match was against Norfolk in the Eastern Regions League.

The torrential rain which had been promised held off and the sun even made an appearance. The matches were competitive but played in a great spirit with most of the matches going to the 18th hole. The course was in fabulous condition with some of the Norfolk ladies asking for information about the Chigwell Open competitions.

The final result was a win for Essex 3.5 - 2.5.

With Norfolk still to play their remaining three matches the league result is still to be decided.

Essex were supported by County Captain Elaine Davidson and County President Nicola Thomas.
