JUNIOR EVENTS KICK OFF WITH SPRING MEETING!
On Friday 14th April, thirteen girls took to the somewhat damp fairways of Canons Brook Golf Club to compete in the Girls’ Spring Meeting. The rain forecast for the day held off and the girls all enjoyed the course. Megan Dawson (Chelmsford) took the prize for the best gross score, and the stableford prizes went to Ellie Quarmby (Chelmsford) playing in her first county competition, followed by Elsa Reason (Chelmsford), again a newbie to county competitions, Maia Hattrell (West Essex) was third. Thanks go to Canons Brook for hosting the day and referee Joanne Shepard for keeping an eye on the girls.
