Essex Ladies County Golf
JUNIOR GOLFER OF THE YEAR 2022
2022 has been a very special year with the County having won all of the Regional Finals and the National Finals and this would not have been achieved without the help of our very talented Juniors.
This award is given to the player who is considered to have achieved the most at Club, County, Regional and National Level, their commitment to their own development, their participation in both individual and team events and their evidence of achievement.
With all this in mind it came down to one player, Ciara Rushmer, Boyce Hill Golf Club.
Ciara represented Essex in both the County 1st Team and the Junior County Team.
Has been selected again for the England East Region U18 Training Squad.
She has also played in many events throughout the UK, including winning a Faldo Series Event, 2nd in Sir Henry Cooper Masters and 8th in England U18 Championships.
She won the East Region Girls' Championships at Bentley Golf Club.
She was in the semi final of the Essex Ladies County Championships at Frinton.
She is the 2022 Essex Girls' Champion.
She also won the Essex Girls' Summer Meeting with a gross score of 68 and this was good enough to qualify her for a place in the Justin Rose Daily Telegraph Junior Girls' Final which was held in Portugal in November.
She has handicap of +2.3
