ELCGA Seniors vs Cambs & Hunts

ELCGA Seniors Team, East Regions League match vs Cambs & Hunts at Lakeside Lodge GC 4th July 2022

The inaugural match with Cambs & Hunts as part of the new Senior East Regions League was hotly contested on the very challenging Lakeside Lodge GC with many tricky dog legs, plenty of water and tightly tree lined fairways. The teams were pretty evenly matched however as we all know, scratch matchplay is it's own beast on the day. Essex prevailed winning 3.5 of the 6 available matches, securing the league point on offer.

Essex was represented by Julie Finegan (Chigwell), Nicky Iles (Crondon Park), Tiff Wade (Chelmsford), Kate Moss (Crondon Park), Gaye Orford (Stockbrook Manor - not in the pic as she had to dash off) and Sophie Walters, Seniors Captain (Wanstead).
