WOMEN'S COUNTY KO FINALS DAY!
The four finals matches tee'd off in brilliant sunshine!
Gold - Liz Brown (Warley Park) -v- Taylor Edkins (Stock Brook Manor)
Silver - Helen Williams (Burnham) -v- Suzanne Biscoe (Chelmsford)
Bronze - Christi Neville (Langdon Hills) -v- Pauline Nixon (Chelmsford)
HiLo Foursomes - Caroline Gard & Virginia Richardson (Frinton) -v- Sarah Fryer & Louise Wood (Frinton)
Several Clubs were represented with the first ever HiLo final being an all Frinton affair.
There was some great golf played in a friendly and sporting manner. Most of the matches went the finals few holes with the Gold matching going up the 19th. Unfortunately as the matches were coming up the stretch a very dark clouds started to gather over the course and finally the heavens did open and the players in the last couple of matches 'got a soaking'! But the rain didn't stop all the winners smiling as they collected their prizes!

A super day rounding off a very successful KO year. Thanks must go to Rochford Golf Club for hosting the matches and Josie Williams and Debs Wolton for giving up their time to referee the matches! I think we all learned something new about the rules!
