NB: Before entering this KO competition, you should be aware that the date of the Junior Finals are on Sunday 1st October 2023. If you know you will not be available on that date do not enter this competition.

The closing date for this competition is Sunday 26th February 2023.
This is a foursome match play competition - teams of two. Played off full handicap different - 1/2 difference between aggregate handicaps of each team
Teams must consist of a woman and a junior girl from the same club.
Handicap index limits: woman's maximum of 23.5 Juniors maximum of 36.4. Women players must be aged 25 or over.
Age limits: Women must be aged 25 or over, Juniors under 18 on 1st January of the current year.
The entry fee will be £5.00
The draws for each round will be available at Competitions on the ELCGA website and will also be emailed to players.
The play by dates are as follows: The number of rounds may vary depending on the number of entries.
Round 1 Sunday 14th May 2023
Round 2 Sunday 11th June 2023
Round 3 Sunday 16th July 2023 (if required)
Quarter Finals Sunday 20th August 2023 will be played on a neutral course the Competition Organiser will inform the quarter-finalists which course they will play on.
Semi Finals Sunday 17th September 2023 - will be played on a neutral course the Competition Organiser will inform the semi-finalists which course they will play on.
Finals Day Sunday 1st October - this is not a play-by date. All women’s finals will be played on 8th October at a course to be decided.
In the first round the team at the top of the draw will have home advantage. Where a team has 2 consecutive home/away draws, they will automatically play home/away in the following round – unless their opponents are in the same position, when a draw will be made in the usual way. When this situation arises the Competition Organiser will advise players who has home advantage.
If a player’s handicap index increases and is outside the limit of the division they must play off the maximum handicap in that division. If a player’s handicap index reduces and is below the handicap range, they may stay in the division but play off their new handicap index.
The match result should be submitted as soon as possible using the Results Submission form on the ELCGA Website.
