The Seniors Team plays matches against two of the East Region counties, the format is singles match‐play against Hertfordshire and Norfolk.
The seniors have now entered the Larson Bowl league which includes Sussex, Surrey, Middlesex and Kent. These matches are played with a team of six playing singles match play.
The team points are calculated on how many individual matches you win over the four matches, the team with the most individual wins, will win the league and receives the Larson Bowl. The Larson Bowl is then presented at finals day, this day all players that have represented Essex in any of the four matches will be invited to play on this day. The golf itself on this day is a fun day.
A Seniors Team of four players is selected to compete in the Inter‐Counties Team Championship (10 counties). The format is singles medal play off scratch with the best three scores counting.
