JUNIOR GIRLS' MOST IMPROVED GOLFER 2021

The calculation for the ‘Most Improved’ player is the one set by the R&A that calculates an Improvement Factor.

We congratulate all the girls for continuing to participate at a competitive level with some very impressive results.

The most notable reductions were:.

Emily Dixon (Thorpe Hall) reduced from 10.6 to 6.4 (Improvement Factor 1.23) 

Caitlin Abercromby (Chelmsford) reduced from 19.4 to 13.5 (1.23)

Rosie Salter (Chelmsford) reduced from 16.3 to 10.2 (1.27)

Megan Dawson  (Chelmsford)  reduced from  13.6 to 8.1 (1.27)

Caitlin Garrard (Chelmsford) reduced from 34.5 to  24.4 (1.28)

Jessica Pugh (Benton Hall) reduced from 17.5 to 9.8 (1.35)

For the first time we have two winners of the Most Improved Player 2021, both with an Improvement Factor of 1.39

Georgia Cater (Thorndon  Park) whose handicap reduced from 14.9 to 7.4 

Amy Knotts (Chigwell) who reduced her handicap from 2.6 to +1.5
