ESSEX LADIES' COUNTY
GOLF ASSOCIATION
This competition is designed to give an opportunity to
be involved in a match play competition.
· Entrants must be under 18 on the 1st January 2010.
· The maximum CONGU handicap is 30.
· The closing date for entering the competition is 15th January 2010.
· There is no limit on the number of entries per Club.
· Each round is drawn as soon as possible after the competition of the previous round. The first name drawn plays at home. The games are played to a completion. Handicap allowance – full difference between handicaps of players.
· The draw will be published on the website (www.essexladiesgolf.org). The Logan Trophy Organiser will notify all players of the first round by post. Subsequent rounds will be sent by e-mail. The home player should contact their opponent as soon as possible to arrange a date for the match. If no contact has been made after a few days, the away player should telephone their opponent with some dates.
· If the players can only find a date on which both players can play when the home course is not available, the Organiser may rule that the match should be played at the away players course.
· No
extensions will be granted.
· The winner should contact the Logan Trophy Organiser, as soon as possible after the match has been played to inform her of the result.
· Players should always have their handicap certificates available to show to their opponent.
· No caddies are allowed in this competition.
· The semi-finals and final will be played on neutral courses.
· The final will be played on the first Sunday in October whenever this is possible.
