GOLF ASSOCIATION

This competition is designed to give girls an opportunity to be involved in a match play competition with the advice and help of an experienced partner. |
• |
The pairs consist of an adult lady and junior lady member of the same club. The adult should be 25 years or over. The junior must be under 18 on the first of January 2012. |
• |
The maximum
CONGU handicap for the adult is 24 and for
the junior, 36.
• |
The closing date for entering the competition is 22nd January 2012. |
• |
Clubs may enter any number of pairs. |
• |
Each round is drawn as soon as possible after the completion of the previous round. The first pair drawn plays at home. The games are played to a completion. Shots are given on the basis of half the difference between aggregate handicaps of each side. |
• |
The draw will be published on the website (www.essexladiesgolf.org). The Hunter Foursomes Organiser will notify all players of all rounds by email. The home players should contact their opponent as soon as possible to arrange a date for the match. If no contact has been made after a few days, the away players should telephone their opponents with some dates. It is a joint responsibility of both sides to arrange a date for the match. |
• |
If the players can only find a date on which all players can play when the home course is not available, the County Junior Organiser may rule that the match should be played at the away pair’s course. |
• |
No extensions will be granted. |
• |
The winners should contact the Hunter Foursomes Organiser, as soon as possible after the match has been played to inform her of the result. |
• |
Players should always have their handicap certificates available to show to their opponents. |
• |
No caddies are allowed in this competition. |
