WELL DONE TO THE ESSEX GIRLS WHO MADE IT A CLEAN SWEEP

Essex finished up the winners for the East Region with 5 matches won out of 5. The girls started their final match today (4^th September) against Bedfordshire in torrential rain but finished in glorious sunshine - they won 4 and 2. The 2^nd team played foursomes and they also won by 2 and 1.

Congratulations to our team of girls who had a great win against Norfolk when they played the very difficult links course at Great Yarmouth & Caister.

Girls win at Woburn in the Prince of Wales Amateur Challenge Trophy on 19 August. They came 1st, 2nd & 3rd. (Awaiting photo).
